Rehabilitation physicians are medical doctors who have training to support people recovering from a variety of medical conditions affecting many areas of the body.

Some rehabilitation physicians have an interest in working with adults with physical disabilities and understand the lifelong needs and what is likely to be required as the late effects of the disability start to impact on life. They can therefore be a good source of health co-ordination.
