Secondary Education

Adolescents and young adults can be continuing their education at mainstream or special schools in either the public or independent sector. Every child has a right to the same educational opportunities. There are many options that are available while you are at school, once you are assessed, the school will put the required supports in place to maximise your learning and participation at school.

Tertiary education

It is any education after high school including university, TAFE or similar, traineeships and apprenticeships. Facilities have different levels of supports in place for people with physical disabilities. It is best to research and contact the facility you will be attending as early as possible to discuss service options.
